Natural Vitamin Supplements - some thoughts

by Webmaster,

On this page, I discuss my thoughts on natural vitamin supplements.

If you are looking to purchase natural health supplements of good quality, click here for what, in my view, are a few reliable online sources of effective health supplements.

While, on other pages on this website, I discuss my preference for whole food supplements , especially herbal dietary supplements , I am actually not totally against using more isolated forms of vitamin supplements.

In fact, when I was younger, I actually did consume various kinds of vitamin supplements. However, in recent years, I have found whole food supplements to be safer and more effective. They even taste better to me. On top of that, they are more complete and offer much more balanced nutrition to the human body.

Between swallowing a whole host of different pills to taking a single supplement which offers balanced and complete nutrition, I most certainly pick the latter.

My biggest concern when it comes to vitamin supplements - and there are millions of them out there - is the source of their ingredients. Many isolated-substance supplements out there are actually made from horrible substances such as the cheap by-products of industrial waste and even, shockingly, sewage sludge! I honestly cannot bear the thought of putting such substances into my body.

Personally, I do not take daily vitamin supplements or multi vitamin supplements on a regular basis. Instead, as mentioned earlier, I obtain my daily natural health vitamins from my food as well as from whole food supplements.

However, from time to time, I do take some vitamin supplements. For example, I load up on Vitamin C when I catch a bug, or when I feel my immune system needs a little extra assistance.

But when I do take vitamins, I always make sure that I only consume natural vitamin supplements, i.e. the ingredients of the supplement must be from nature . If the sources of the vitamins are synthetic or artificial in nature, or even unknown, then I stay clear.

In the face of the many different kinds of vitamin supplements out there, going natural is probably your, and our, safest bet.

If you haven't already done so, click here to read some of my thoughts on how to seek out quality natural supplements which are more likely to be safe and effective.
