First, place your hand on your chest and the other on your stomach and watch as you breathe in and out. Your hand should not move as you breathe. It is helpful to count to three as you breathe in and again to three (or two or four - whatever works for you) as you breathe out. Next, focus on your feet and try really hard to feel each of your toes and imagine roots coming from the Earth and through your toes, grounding you and making you feel stable. Focus on that feeling of stability for a few moments.

Once you are confident in your feeling of being grounded, then begin to imagine a bright light shining above you, as though the clouds have parted and the warm and bright sunshine is making its way over your head, and slowly down the rest of your body until you are completely illuminated. Feel how the light seems to be making things clearer for you. Repeat this a few times until you can really feel the light and the sense of clarity.

You can also imagine that cool refreshing water follows that light and washes over your body, making you feel alive as it washes away your stress and anxiety. Use all of your senses when you practice visualizing. Try to see the light and feel the water - make it as real as you can.

Practicing those visualizations regularly will train your mind into letting go of stresses and unwanted feelings more easily. It won’t be an overnight fix, but with practice, it will get continuously easier until you have finally mastered the best possible natural anxiety treatment within your grasp.
