A note about Natural Tinnitus Help and Remedies

In natural health and healing, we believe in holistic health and healing, as we realize that different parts of the human body are highly interlinked, often beyond Man's understanding. We also believe that the body has the ability to heal itself of any disease, even supposedly incurable diseases.

In order to do so, the body needs the support of some basic dietary and lifestyle good health habits, such as a full body detox and a proper understanding and application of nutrition. No matter how remote or unrelated a health condition may seem, these fundamental health steps will greatly magnify the effects and benefits of any of our health-promoting efforts, including the use of specific natural health remedies.

If you have tinnitus, you should know that there is help for your condition. There are many different ways to treat your symptoms naturally and effectively, without the need for prescription drugs. Here are some possible remedies:

  • Vitamin supplements may help your condition. Consider taking extra vitamin supplements of B12, B6 and B5 to help improve your ringing ears. Many people who suffer from tinnitus have been found to be deficient in these vitamins. As always, we prefer whole food supplements (e.g. barley grass powder) over single substance supplements (vitamin C capsules or zinc tablets).

  • Vitamin E can help improve oxygen flow to the ears and ease your tinnitus symptoms.

  • Vitamin A is essential to the health of ear membranes, so this vitamin may be useful in providing some natural tinnitus help.

  • Consider taking ginkgo biloba twice daily with meals. This herb can provide herbal tinnitus help because it improves blood flow to the membranes of the ear.

  • Craniosacral therapy, which is used to gently manipulate the bones in the head, may be helpful in taking some of the tension off the nerves in the ear.

  • Check your diet for possible food allergies, as sometimes an allergic reaction can cause this condition.

  • For effective natural tinnitus help, change your diet. It has been found that if you work to increase your intake of vitamins B, A and E through your diet and reduce your sodium intake, you may find that your tinnitus improves. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits, make it a point to get a good variety, and dramatically reduce the amount of saturated fats in your diet. Consider eating more fish and lean poultry, as well as whole grains and fresh juices. If you don’t eat eggs, incorporate them as part of healthy diet options, and consider eating some reduced or low fat cheese and yogurt as well - these are rich in vitamin B.

  • Consider taking a choline supplement, as it has been found to help with tinnitus rather quickly, especially if you have high blood pressure.

  • Zinc has been found to help older patients to relieve their tinnitus and age related hearing loss, so this may be another nutrient to consider when seeking natural tinnitus help. Since zinc can be dangerous, you should only take this supplement under the supervision of your health care provider.

  • For many people, tinnitus can be frustrating, especially when trying to sleep. Consider trying to drown the ringing out by listening to quiet static at night. Tune your radio to a static station and let it sit somewhere near the head of your bed. This is often a good way to help you with your tinnitus symptoms.

  • Also, remember that caffeine, alcohol and stimulants can make the ringing in your ears worse, so consider avoiding these substances. Stress can have this effect on tinnitus as well, so take the time to work on deep breathing exercises and get plenty of exercise.

In many cases, people find that they eventually get used to the ringing, or it goes away in time. With a healthy diet rich in all the vitamins and minerals your body needs, plenty of exercise and an overall healthy approach to life, you will likely find that your tinnitus improves over time. This is the best and most natural tinnitus help you can get.
