Tuberculosis CauseThe basic tuberculosis cause is two species of Mycobacteria, namely Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and Mycobacterium Bovis. Most of us know of tuberculosis, or TB, as a lung disease. The truth is, the said bacteria can attack and infect any part of the human body, although it is usually the lungs which succumb. Other parts of the body which could be hit include the brain, spine, kidneys and alimentary canal.

A note about Tuberculosis CauseIn natural health and healing, we believe in holistic health and healing, as we realize that different parts of the human body are highly interlinked, often beyond Man's understanding. We also believe that the body has the ability to heal itself of any disease, even supposedly incurable diseases. In order to do so, the body needs the support of some basic dietary and lifestyle good health habits, such as a full body detox and a proper understanding and application of nutrition. No matter how remote or unrelated a health condition may seem, these fundamental health steps will greatly magnify the effects and benefits of any of our health-promoting efforts, including the use of specific natural health remedies. TB is a contagious disease which is potentially fatal if not properly managed and treated. For many years and all around the world, TB has been one of the major causes of death. What is alarming is that, even in the present day, where we would think we have gotten a foothold on microorganism-related diseases, TB remains one of the main causes of death from infectious diseases in several industrialized countries, just as it did many years ago. Yes, even today, tuberculosis causes many deaths. There are some possible reasons for the re-emergence of tuberculosis today. Firstly, the immune systems of HIV patients are badly compromised, and this makes many of them susceptible to new TB infections, or helps in the reactivation of TB which was prevalent earlier. Another possibility is when rural populations migrate to developed cities, and bring the disease with them in the process. A possible notable tuberculosis cause is overcrowding in city areas, which provides a conducive environment for the spread of infectious diseases. In addition, some areas may be lacking in the basic public health infrastructure necessary to keep such diseases at bay. Then there is the re-emergence of drug-resistant bacteria, which has increased the dangers posed by this infectious disease. Those who are poor may live in undesirable conditions. They also often cannot afford proper nutrition, which then compromises their immune systems. These make them more susceptible to TB. The fact is, not every person who is infected with the said bacteria – studies have shown that as much as one third of the world’s population is actually infected with the TB bacillus – will actually manifest the disease if one’s immune system is strong and can ward it off. Thus, like in the case for all infectious and micro-organism-related diseases, a healthy immune system plays a critical role in preventing and fighting TB.
