  • For severe vertigo, there is a treatment where a medical professional quickly moves your head from side to side to readjust the “rocks” in the inner ear, which may be the cause of the vertigo that you are feeling. This procedure isn’t fun, because you have to stay upright for about two days, but it is said to be effective.

The above are some basic strategies for coping with dizziness. Of course, to really fully address the issue, you will need to deal with the underlying issues which are causing your dizzy spells.
