Overall Wellbeing and Health

Natural Health Principle No. 3

Natural health and healing seeks to maintain the overall wellbeing and health of a person. This includes both his or her physical and mental wellbeing.

Hypothetically, suppose you grow a big wart or a tumor - would you rather be in a situation whereby the tumor is shrinking with each passing day, but you are also getting weaker and weaker and enduring more pain; or would you rather be in a situation whereby the tumor's size stays constant, but you are feeling stronger, healthier and happier with each passing day?

I would definitely choose the latter, and I know you probably would too.

For example, in the case of cancer, conventional medicine tries so hard to attack and kill disease, attempting to cut out, poison or burn up a tumor, that it compromises on the overall wellbeing of the person - the poor patient often ends up suffering very badly and then dying anyway.

In the arena of natural health and healing, if a person remains alive and well, it does not always matter if a tumor is not immediately shrinking.

The main aim is not to try to attack, kill or remove disease, but to provide the ideal conditions to get a person as healthy as possible, and then the person's body will do the necessary work to heal itself. His general wellbeing and total wellbeing are of paramount importance.

In natural health, the person is treated, NOT the disease.

Natural Health Principle No. 3

The third of the natural health principles is that the overall wellbeing and health of a person is the number one priority, not a disease or a symptom.
